I am a hobby breeder of rare Shetland Poultry and from this years hatches I am selling a TRIO or QUARTET, Black based birds which will feather up to the traditional solid black/black-silver and black-gold. Beautiful, easy going, hardy GREEN egg layers with nice characters. All with the preferred 'tappit' (head crest). Looking for homes with knowledgable keepers who are interested in preserving rare native breeds. Must have a clean, secure, spacious accommodation with some free ranging when safe to do so. Shetlands are long lived and lay a medium sized green egg often in to old age. The cockerels are generally good natured. Hatched May this year so selling as sexed growers.
