Our lovely breeding of miniture silver appleyard x call ducklings have produced some fabulous ducks over the years, they are family friendly (they know strangers) and garden friendly, unlike some larger ducks. We even let them loose in our veg garden with salad leaves growing. Used to dogs, they actually rule the roost!
Lqst year the ridiculously hot weather played havoc with our poor ducks that were sitting, but this year we have a good start with two beautiful hatches. Our ducks roam free and find there own nesting spots in the garden, they are exemplary mothers, learned over the years. We protect them from predators with red and white flashing bike lights and dangling CDs
These are ready to go if got shelter, two or more must go together, they need company
