I am a hobby breeder of rare Shetland Poultry and from this years hatches I am selling one or two TRIO's (1 cockerel and 2 pullets). Black based birds which will feather up to solid black/black-silver and black-gold. Beautiful, easy going, hardy GREEN egg layers with nice characters. Looking for homes with knowledgable keepers who are interested in preserving rare native breeds. Must have a clean, secure, spacious accommodation with some free ranging when safe to do so. Shetlands are long lived and lay a medium sized green egg often in to old age. The cockerels are generally good natured. Hatched May this year so selling as sexed growers. I am APHA registered and abide by all Avian Flu guidelines and restrictions. Photographs show some of this years chicks and a couple of the parent birds.
