The Columbian Blacktail is a much-loved British favourite — a friendly, reliable layer with warm chestnut feathers and a glossy black tail. These chicks grow into calm, confident hens that are easy to handle and perfect for both first-time keepers and experienced smallholders.
Our chicks are sexed females, hatched from our own breeding group here on our smallholding near Stroud, Gloucestershire. Males are also available by request at half the cost of females. Each chick is reared with care on high-quality feed to ensure strong health and confident growth.
